Growing up, I enjoyed many different kinds of science fiction writing, always trying to find my favorite. Ultimately, I settled on just old-fashioned, good story telling. That seemed to be what I liked the most. So, that's what these are, just entertaining stories. No hidden, deep meaning, I don't have a message to push, and there are no dragons, mystics or lost cities. Just, hopefully, fun and interesting stories to read and capture your imagination.

Pushed to the Stars

Fiction, Suspense, Sci-Fi

SETI, the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, has been looking for ET since the mid 50's. If we find alien life, what makes us think they will be friendly ? If Galactic civilizations evolve anything at all like our own planetary species has evolved, we may be in for some deadly surprises. "We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn’t want to meet. I imagine they might exist in massive ships, having used up all the resources from their home planet. Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonize whatever planets they can reach … If aliens ever visit us, I think the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn’t turn out very well for the Native Americans."
