Fiction, Christmas, Children, Fairy Tale

Inspired by a family tradition spanning over thirty years, The Magic Gingerbread House shares the story of a very special Christmas when five of Santa’s elves came to live in the gingerbread house that Meghan and Mollie built.

Elves work hard making toys, and they need a place to get away from Santa’s workshop and relax…elves need a vacation too! Meghan and Mollie carefully create a beautiful gingerbread house in hopes the elves will choose it for their retreat. To the sisters’ delight, the elves move in. After spending the night playing in the gingerbread house, the elves-Hans, Grietal, Kirsten, Franz and Stefan- always leave a special note for the girls, and even little gifts.

When the elves encourage the sisters to reach out to Sammy, a new girl at school who seems very lonely, the three friends learn there are limits to what Santa can bring.

Mom keeps saying wait and see, and the elves keep things exciting, but what is going to happen on Christmas Day? With the help of the elves, Meghan, Mollie and Sammy learn how important it is to believe in the magic of Christmas.
